Oxfam Unwrapped

A short animation to promote the Oxfam Unwrapped service.

Project Background:

Oxfam GB hired us to produce a new animation for their Oxfam Unwrapped service, an alternative gift concept available through individual Oxfam stores and online. The aim of the animation was to explain the process of Oxfam Unwrapped, what it does to help those in need, and how you can get involved.

The main content of the animation is based around the playful and at times mischievous antics of the Oxfam Unwrapped mascot, Archie the goat. We worked alongside Oxfam in preproduction to develop an Archie character that matched previous design concepts and the Oxfam brand as a whole. We then developed scenes ready for animation based on existing visual identity guidelines and graphics, with the inclusion of text to reaffirm the narrative. All this set to a lighthearted, upbeat soundtrack gives the final video a feeling of positivity and optimism.
